I have to say that our last family holiday on Hamilton Island was awesome. Heaps for the family to do together but make sure you take plenty of money food is very expensive. We hired a house and ordered groceries from Proserpine which came over on the barge so all in all the costs were reduced. The pools were a fantastic place to hang out and Whitehaven Beach is a must see as is the barrier reef, the snorkeling was awesome.
